Impact Community

Community isn’t separate from my work—it’s the reason I do it.

Beyond filmmaking and marketing, I commit my time to projects that improve access, visibility, and life chances for people who are often overlooked. My community work focuses on youth empowerment, justice-involved women, and unpaid carers—supporting organisations doing long-term, meaningful change.

UP2US

Board Trustee

Focus: Improving life chances and wellbeing for young people, including justice-involved young women.

My contribution:

As a Board Trustee, I provide strategic oversight, governance, and long-term thinking, supporting the organisation to remain aligned with its mission, values, and legal responsibilities. I contribute to decision-making that shapes programmes, partnerships, and sustainability—ensuring impact isn’t short-term, but systemic.

Why this matters to me:

This role reflects my belief that storytelling, advocacy, and good governance must work together. Behind every statistic is a lived experience, and real change happens when young people are supported with dignity, structure, and opportunity.

Stirling Carers Centre

Content Volunteer (Project-based)

Focus: Supporting unpaid carers across the Stirling Council area with information, advice, and practical support.

My contribution:

I support content development projects, helping shape clear, accessible communications that amplify the Centre's work and make support easier to find for carers who are often under-recognised and overstretched.

Why this matters to me:

Carers hold communities together, often quietly. This role allows me to use my creative and digital skills to improve access, visibility, and understanding, ensuring carers feel seen, informed, and supported.
